A case in your child's school
It can be very worrying to hear that there has been a case of meningitis in your child's school. However, most cases of meningitis happen alone and it is unusual for a second, related case to occur. Your local public health team will be in contact with the school if any action is needed.
You can download a meningitis symptoms card or a What is meningitis? leaflet here.
