Laboratory results back - confirm meningococcal group B disease

First meeting with parents at the school. After strong reassurances and a lot of discussion, concentrate on the need for us all to be aware of the disease and how to get help if worried. Again leave information leaflets. Five parents talk to me privately at the end of the meeting.

Second meeting with parents - talk to those who couldn’t make the morning meeting

Two very worried parents of students who were at the disco telephone my office. Further information and reassurance given.

Call from Sophie’s Dad, would like to chat tomorrow now that she’s much better.
