Know someone affected by meningitis?

Meningitis and meningococcal septicaemia are serious diseases that can happen to anyone, at any time.  It can be pretty scary if someone close to you has been seriously ill, so it is important to know about the disease and talk about what's happened.

If you know someone who's had meningitis or you've had meningitis yourself, you may want to know more about what can happen following the illness.
